As indicated by the economic data, Polish exports have ceased to be associated only with construction joinery - now they are diversified products, often innovative, taking care of modern design, manufactured on the basis of own original designs and precious materials. Furniture, jewelry, elements of interior and space arrangement, musical instruments and stage lighting, as well as numerous other products that are connected by the art of design, which are popular on foreign markets, are manufactured in Pomerania.
Furniture
The furniture industry is the fastest and most dynamically developing branch of the Polish economy. Over the years, Poland has advanced to the forefront of world leaders both in terms of production (6th place in the world and 3rd place in the EU) and exports (3rd place in the world - after China and Germany) with nearly 6% of exports share in world exports (according to HS94).
Amber and jewelry
Poland has one of the largest amber deposits in the world and is the largest exporter of exclusive jewelry. It is estimated that 70% of world production belongs to the Pomorskie Region. There are about 1,500 companies in the region that combine precious metal with amber of various shades. The products are most popular in China, but also in the USA and Western Europe.
